In her new role, Taylor looks forward to guiding the hospital’s growth while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Melissa, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Melissa, LVT, joined Bay Road Animal Hospital with over a decade of veterinary experience and a passion for both patient care and client education. A graduate of Johnson College in Scranton, PA, Melissa has been working in the veterinary field since 2014. She especially enjoys performing ultrasounds and helping pet owners understand how to best care for their furry (and sometimes scaly) family members.

At home, Melissa’s love for animals shines just as brightly—her family includes two dogs, a cat, a curious blue-tongued skink, a chatty parrotlet, and even a thriving isopod colony. Her menagerie keeps life interesting and fuels her dedication to animal health every day.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors, discovering new restaurants with her family, and keeping her car sparkling clean. Having recently moved to the area, she and her family are excited to explore everything the community has to offer as they put down roots.

When you see her, be sure to say hello and swap recommendations for
great local places to explore!
